Campaign for TAFE Teachers new agreement on pay & tenure.

Help build bargaining power for better pay, tenure and conditions for TAFE teachers in Victoria.

Please take some or all of these actions:

1. Join the AEU to build strength in numbers.

2. Refer a friend & get $50 (see top right).

3. Subscribe for campaign news (see on right).

4. Tell us your views. (eg. Campaign tactics? Making TAFE better? Other?)

5. Do the one question poll on strike/s or other action (see bottom left).

As a member, you or your friends and colleagues will get better pay rises, protection of your job and conditions, influence at the work place, and savings via large discounts on goods and services you use all the time.

If you talk to management via representatives acting on behalf of a large group of employees, you will get a better outcome than doing it as an individual. You can see this in the picture below.

In this campaign, some key issues are:

pay equality with NSW;
better conditions for casuals, and
potential "cherry picking" of TAFE courses by private sector competitors... threatening jobs of you or your colleagues.

Building strength through numbers is a key part of the AEU campaign. As part of this, each week the AEU is meeting TAFE teachers throughout the state.
